Day 155
Never Separated

In Romans 3:25, Paul is speaking in terms of how God displayed Jesus publicly. The culture of that time believed that there had to be blood in order to be forgiven. They had been doing animal sacrifices, which God clearly stated were worthless and meaningless to Him. Scripture makes it very clear in other verses that blood was not necessary for forgiveness and that God was never angry. The animal sacrifices and the pleasing an angry God concept was all made to appease man not to appease God. The carnal mind of man has misjudged the character of God since the garden. Always thinking that there was a reason to hide, that there was a separation. That was the original sin: misjudgment.
