grace- from the Greek word charis meaning grace, kindness, blessing; the unmerited favor of God.
The depth of grace is discovered through the awakening to the finished work of Christ. Until this awakening occurs, our understanding of grace will be limited to what we know or feel about the character of God.
It is not something we achieve, but rather something that we receive in Christ consciousness.
There are 123 references to grace in the New Testament.
In Romans 5:17, Paul wrote that when we experience the abundance of grace we also received the gift of righteousness.
In Galatians 2:8-9, Paul wrote, "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast."
In 2 Corinthians 4:15, Paul wrote, "For all things are for your sakes, so that the grace which is spreading to more and more people may cause the giving of thanks to abound to the glory of God."
Grace = Abundance
God Gives Most
In 2 Corinthians 9:8 Paul writes, "And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed;"
In Titus 3:4 Paul wrote, "But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared, He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by His grace we would be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life."

In 2 Peter 3:18, "but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen."
In Romans 6:14, Paul wrote, "For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under law but under grace."
The Word Became Flesh
John 1:14-17, "And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. John testified about Him and cried out, saying, "This was He of whom I said, "He who comes after me has a higher rank than I, for He existed before me." For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace. For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth were realized through Jesus Christ."
